• The upland cranberry extract (also known as uva ursi or bearberry) is standardized to contain 20% arbutin. In the body, arbutin breaks down into hydroquinone, a compound recognized for its role in urinary tract function. Unlike cranberry juice, which is typically sweetened, processed, and watered down, CranGuard capsules provide exactly the right level of these key compounds.
