Studies indicate that bromelain (the protein-digesting enzyme found in pineapple) works with the flavonoid quercetin to support enzyme functions that break down fibrin. Inflamzyme combines bromelain and quercetin with magnesium and vitamin C-two nutrients that must be present for body tissue repair functions, enzyme activities, and immune functions.
