According to legend, a sailor named Robert began using plants recommended by herbalists at the various ports he visited. Robert was so impressed with the herbal combination, he began recommending it to others.

Our version of this combination, Robert's Formula, contains niacinamide in a special blend of herbs, duodenal substance, and pancreatin. American cranesbill, cabbage, marshmallow, okra, and slippery elm are rich in mucilage, a substance that forms a slippery mass when suspended in water. Echinacea and goldenseal are also included. 60 hard shell capsules (size 00)

Recommendations:

One or two capsules three times daily as an addition to the everyday diet.

Cabbage Extract (Brassica oleracea) 100 mg
Marshmallow Extract (4:1) (Althaea officinalis) 75 mg

Okra (Hibiscus esculentis) 75 mg
Slippery Elm (Ulma fulva) 75 mg

  Standardized to contain greater than 3.5%
  echinacosides and 0.65% essential oils
Goldenseal Root Extract (Hydrastis canadensis) 25 mg
  Standardized to contain 5% total alkaloids
including berberine, hydrastine, and canadine
